VitaLife-MD offers a new integrative medicine model of care that focuses on well-being and disease prevention as well as patient education and empowerment. The goal is to help our patients optimize their physical, mental, and emotional overall health status so that they can live a longer, healthier, and happier life.
We are a group of caring, compassionate, expert health professionals dedicated to working in active partnership with our patients. Depending on each individual needs our comprehensive, personalized approach to health and healing combines lifestyle recommendations, preventive care, hormone balancing, and various alternative or conventional medicine treatments as needed.
We offer pioneer science-based age management programs that will help reduce the risks of age-related health conditions and improve physical and mental energy at any age. Finally, inspired by our medical director Dr Fradin-Read, we add a unique European/French touch which brings to the practice another originality to our care.
We are more than a classical medical office. We believe that each patient has a "capital of health" that can be optimized through guidance and education. We offer a platform for health promotion where anyone, in a highly private and comfortable environment, can learn about healthy lifestyle, wellness, and antiaging related topics. We connect our patients with a network of heath care providers interested in looking at a different and more efficient model of healthcare. We are engaged on the new pathway of integrative medicine for a proactive and personalized approach to optimal health.
Dominique Fradin-Read, M.D., M.P.H.
At the age of 25, Dr. Dominique Fradin-Read opened her first practice in the south of France after graduating summa cum laude from medical school and finishing a residency in internal medicine at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium. She soon understood that her true passions were prevention and anti-aging, and she decided to enhance her education in these fields by completing a two-year fellowship program in preventive and lifestyle medicine at France's University of Aix-Marseille. Dr. Fradin-Read quickly became a leading advocate of preventive aging and regenerative medicine in Europe, adding yet another specialization later when she completed a fellowship in cardiovascular preventive medicine. She served as a consulting physician and associate faculty member in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Vascular Medicine at the University Hospital Center Trousseau in Tours (France). She actively worked on the development of cardiovascular and metabolic prevention programs in collaboration with the French Association of Cardiology and the French Committee for Health Promotion and Education. For several years she was associated with one of Europe's major medical spas, serving both as its medical advisor and as a practicing anti-aging physician.
After moving to the United States in 1999, Dr. Fradin-Read completed an internship in Internal Medicine through UC San Francisco and a residency in Preventive Medicine at Loma Linda University where she concurrently earned a Master of Public Health degree and was elected a member of Delta Omega, the public health national honor society. Dr. Fradin-Read is board-certified in Preventive Medicine and, in addition, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. She spent several years as a staff physician and a faculty member at the Center for Health Promotion in Loma Linda where she was actively involved in the lifestyle, hormone, and weight management program. She currently holds an appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine.
Dr. Fradin-Read served for several years as a consulting physician for the Murad Medical Group in El Segundo where she collaborated closely with renowned dermatologist Dr Howard Murad to implement the new anti-aging concept of beauty from the inside out (the idea that, in order to look young and beautiful, we need to optimize general health).
In 2009 Dr Fradin-Read joined LifeSpan Medicine in Santa Monica as the group was expanding in the field of integrative medicine. She worked as staff physician for the group until recently when she decided that it was time for her to achieve her dream of opening her own practice in the U.S. where she could offer her patients a broader spectrum of treatments. These now include wellness and preventive aging programs that combine lifestyle interventions, personalized internal supplementation and hormones, and an innovative European cosmetic rejuvenating therapy.
